Kato SR-300L

This fine Kato SR-300L belongs to AIH (Arina International Holding) from Singapore (SG). The crane was used during the construction of a temporary building. It is a 30-tonne crane, built in 2014.

The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6M60-TLE3A, a 7.5-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine delivering an output of 200 kW (268 hp). The crane can achieve a road speed of 49 km/h.

In transport configuration, the crane measures 11.36 metres in length, 2.62 metres in width, and 3.48 metres in height. The standard total weight of the crane is approximately 27 tonnes.

The full outrigger base of the crane measures 6.68 x 6.6 metres. The outriggers can also be extended to widths of 6, 5, 3.8, and 2.31 metres. For each width, the crane has its own load chart. The outrigger pads are carried in a frame at the front of the crane.

The diesel engine drives a total of four hydraulic pumps. This crane is equipped with hydrostatic axles. Both axles are driven and steerable.

The crane is fitted with two winches, both of which are in use here. Each winch has a lifting capacity of 3.5 tonnes and is equipped with a 16 mm hoist rope. The counterweight is permanently mounted on the superstructure and has a slewing radius of 3.5 metres.

The four-section main boom has a base length of 9.35 metres and extends three times to a maximum length of 30.5 metres. The main boom can be extended with a jib of 7.9 to 13 metres. This jib can be mounted to the main boom at an angle of 5, 25 or 45 degrees.
