Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1

Moh Seng

Here, the impressive Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 of Moh Seng from Singapore (SG) was to be deployed for lifting a catamaran.

The crane is configured here with 135 tonnes of ballast, with a slewing radius of 6.6 meters. The outrigger base measures 10 x 9.6 meters.

Here, the catamaran is already approaching. The long sailing mast will present a challenge during lifting.

A 100-tonne lifting frame will be used in combination with extended rigging.

The main boom is extended here to a length of 57.7 meters.

The catamaran was relatively quickly secured and lifted out of the water. Unfortunately, I was unable to witness that moment.
