Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1

Peck Tiong Choon

The attractive Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 of Peck Tiong Choon from Singapore (SG) was deployed during the night to exchange two transformers in the city centre. A few weeks earlier, the LTM 1750-9.1 of Moh Seng had already been deployed at the same location.

First, an old transformer had to be lifted out of the station. This weighs approximately 75 tonnes and was removed at a radius of 21 metres.

The main boom is extended here to 32.7 metres and the arms of the YSL suspension are each unfolded to 35 degrees.

The transformer will be loaded onto a waiting trailer from Yew Choon.

The outrigger base measures 12 x 12 metres; to distribute the load over a larger surface, several steel plates from principal Yew Choon are used.

Here the Scania R 620 of Yew Choon drives away with the transformer loaded on a 6-axle Goldhofer THP trailer.

Meanwhile, the LTM 1750-9.1 waits for the next load.

The crane was equipped with the full ballast of 204 tonnes. The turning radius of the ballast is 8.33 metres.

The new transformer was delivered by a MAN TGX 41.680 of Yew Choon, also on a 6-axle Goldhofer THP trailer.

The main boom was now extended to a length of 38.2 metres.

The total load in the crane is now approximately 80 tonnes, including the load, hook and steel slings.

The transformer is placed at a radius of 21 metres.

A very attractive job by Yew Choon and a beautiful crane from Peck Tiong Choon! This LTM 1750-9.1 is no longer part of the fleet of Peck Tiong Choon and was exported to another continent in early 2026.
