Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1

Tieman

The sharp Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1 of Tieman from Schagen (NL) on a construction site in Nieuwe Niedorp (NL).

The crane was bought new in 2009. This was the first time I saw him working.

Some scaffolding materials were lifted on the construction site. The 38 meter boom is fully extended here.

All the 9 tonner of counterweight is taken by the crane itself. The winch is hidden behind the A-frame to gain more boom length.

The crane outrigger dimension are 7.2 x 6.4 meters.

Lateron two tower cranes would be used on this construction site.

With 16 metres of folding jib, the max. boom length is 54 meters.

Some months later I saw the crane again on the same construction site.

The crane was doing some small hoists at the site, meanwhile are the tower cranes erected by M.J. van Riel.
