Tadano ATF 70G-4

This fine Tadano ATF 70G-4 belongs to T.M. Group from Singapore (SG). It is a 70-tonne telescopic crane mounted on a four-axle carrier. During a weekend, the crane was parked in a large parking area.
The carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 470 LA, a 10.7-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 320 kW (435 hp). The carrier has 8x6x8 drive, with axles 2 to 4 being driven and all axles being steerable.
In transport condition, the crane is 12.455 metres long, 2.66 metres wide and 3.85 metres high. The transport weight is approximately 52 tonnes.
This crane is equipped with the five-section main boom. The main boom has a base length of 11 metres and telescopes four times to a maximum length of 44 metres. Optionally, the main boom can be extended by means of the 8- or 15-metre folding jib. This jib can be moved hydraulically at an angle between 0 and 40 degrees in relation to the main boom.
The outrigger base measures 7.9 x 6.4 metres.
As standard, 6 tonnes of ballast remain mounted on the superstructure. The crane is equipped with a 4.5-tonne hoist winch.
The remaining 9 tonnes of ballast are carried on the carrier. This crane therefore carries 15 tonnes of ballast as standard; the ballast has a swing radius of 3.45 metres.
