Terex AC 200-1
Mun Siong
This interesting Terex AC 200-1 belongs to Mun Siong from Singapore (SG) and was parked at their yard during a weekend. It is a 200-ton crane mounted on a 5-axle carrier.
The 5-axle carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz diesel engine delivering 390 kW (530 hp). The carrier features a 10x8x8 drive system, where axles 2 to 5 are driven and axles 1, 2, 4, and 5 are steerable. The third axle is liftable.
The outrigger base measures 8.45 x 8.2 metres, or half 8.45 x 5.95 metres.
The main boom has a base length of 12.4 metres and extends six times to a maximum length of 67.8 metres. Optionally, the main boom can be extended with a 9.0 – 17.0 metre folding jib.
In transport configuration, the crane measures 14.06 metres in length, 2.98 metres in width, and 4 metres in height. The total weight of the crane is approximately 65 tonnes in this configuration.
A counterweight plate of 3.1 tonnes remains attached to the superstructure. The total counterweight of the crane is 68.5 tonnes and has a slewing radius of 4.95 metres.
The crane is equipped with a 10-ton hoist winch. This crane will primarily be used by Mun Siong for its own projects in the petrochemical industry.
