This interesting Soilmec SR-60 belongs to Anora Foundations from Darra (AU) and was deployed on a major project to drill foundation piles for a large parking garage.

The carrier is 5.86 metres long and 4.3 metres wide. For transport on public roads, the width can be reduced to 3 metres.

The rotary drive is mounted in the leader and can be moved vertically over a distance of 5.6 metres by means of a hydraulic cylinder. The rotary drive has a maximum torque of 212 kNm at a maximum of 9 revolutions per minute.

The winches are mounted at the foot of the leader. These are a 22-tonne winch and an 8-tonne auxiliary winch. Depending on the kelly bar used, drilling can be carried out to a maximum depth of 78 metres.

The leader has a maximum overall height of 21.6 metres. The leader can be inclined 3 degrees forwards and sideways or 10 degrees backwards.

The drilling rig is powered by a CAT C9 diesel engine with an output of 261 kW (380 hp).

An interesting machine from Anora Foundations!
