Scania R 730
Hoysan
In 2020 took Hoysan from Singapore (SG) this very sharp Scania R 730 into operation. It is a 3-axle truck with 6x4-drive line that is mainly deployed for heavy haulage jobs. The truck was here parked along the road during a weekend.
The truck is powered by a Scania DC16, a 16.4-litre 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 537 kW (730 hp). Both rear axles are powered. Behind the front axle are the muffler, the AdBluetank and compressed-air tanks mounted.
The truck is used with coupled trailers and towed trailers.
On this side are the battery and the diesel tank mounted behind the front axle.
The truck is fitted with a reinforced bumper with extra coupling, so that it's also possible to push or brake trailers.

Here stood the impressive Scania R 730 of Hoysan from Singapore (SG), parked along the road with a 10-axle Cometto trailer and load. The transport escort had to be awaited.
A ballast box is mounted on top of the driven rear axles.
The load is being hauled on a 10-axle Cometto modular trailer, assembled from a 4-axle and a 6-axle module. The cargo consists of steel rail profiles.
